First off, let’s talk about the thrilling matches happening at the WTA Finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The top eight players are battling it out for the coveted title, and it’s been an incredible display of skill and determination. Check out the schedule for Saturday, November 9, 2024, where former US Open champion Coco Gauff faces off against Olympic gold-medal champion Zheng Qinwen in the title match. This matchup is definitely one to watch, especially with the high stakes and intense competition. 
High School Tennis in Ohio
While the WTA Finals are making headlines globally, there’s also some exciting action happening closer to home. In Ohio, high school tennis is heating up with matches like the one between Upper Arlington and New Albany. Upper Arlington secured a spot in the Central District D1 Final Four by defeating New Albany under the lights. The field is now set for the State Team Tournament, which will be held at Wooster. The Upper Arlington team will face Highland in the first round. It’s amazing to see these young players giving it their all on the court.

The Tennis Recruiting Network is hosting its 36th annual College Showcase on November 10th in Mount Kisco, New York. This event is a fantastic chance for juniors and seniors to showcase their skills and get noticed by college coaches. Additionally, there will be a separate event for freshman and sophomores at the same site, making it a comprehensive platform for all levels of players.
